Additions Ascended
Additions Ascended is a collection of seven mods that introduce new creatures to Ark: Survival Ascended. These mods include the Ceratosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Deinosuchus, Deinotherium, Archelon, Helicoprion, and Xiphactinus. They add diversity to the creature population on The Island, especially in the oceans.
Super Spyglass Plus
The Super Spyglass Plus mod is a game-changer in Ark: Survival Ascended. It allows players to easily identify creatures from a distance and provides detailed information such as health, torpor, and other stats. It also offers variable zoom, making it useful for evaluating threats and planning taming strategies.
Utilities Plus
The Utilities Plus mod eliminates the frustration of crafting the same item repeatedly in Ark: Survival Ascended. It provides new versions of items like the Bola, Flare Gun, Parachute, Grappling Hook, Torch, and Spear that can be used multiple times. This mod simplifies progression in the game, especially in the early stages.
Hyper’s Cosmetics Ascended
Hyper’s Cosmetics Ascended mod enhances the cosmetic options in Ark: Survival Ascended. It adds a variety of cosmetics for players and creatures, including holiday costumes and adorable Chibi pets. Players can customize their characters and creatures with different costumes, giving them a unique appearance.
Cyropods
The Cryopods mod brings a feature to Ark: Survival Ascended that is not available in the base game. It allows players to capture dinosaurs and other creatures and transport them easily. These captured creatures can be redeployed whenever needed, similar to the mechanics seen in Pokémon games. Cryopods can be crafted in the player inventory, and a Cryofridge can be crafted using the Tek Replicator.
Svartalfheim
Svartalfheim is a massive mod that introduces an entirely new map to Ark: Survival Ascended. This map offers new resources, Alpha dino variants, and other unique features. Although the map is still a work in progress, it provides a fresh experience for players who have already spent countless hours in the game. Svartalfheim is set in a Dwarven-inspired environment and includes changes to spawns, removing flying creatures, Giganotosaurus, and Titanosaurus.
Gryphons
The Gryphons mod allows players to obtain Griffins in Ark: Survival Ascended without waiting for future DLC. These “Gryphons” are similar to Griffins but have additional features like breeding, different saddles, new color regions, and the ability to spawn on all maps using The Island Spawn regions. While currently only the Mountain Gryphon variant is available, the mod creator plans to add more varieties in the future.
Death Inventory Keeper
The Death Inventory Keeper mod addresses one of the biggest challenges in Ark: Survival Ascended—losing items and tamed creatures after dying far from your spawn point. This mod saves items after death into a specific folder, allowing players to retrieve their belongings easily. It even works when players are offline. Additionally, the mod automatically re-equips armor once the items are retrieved, saving time and effort.
BetterTranqs
The BetterTranqs mod provides a solution for the high number of Tranq arrows required to knock out tougher creatures in Ark: Survival Ascended. It introduces seven different types of Tranq Arrows and Narcotics, making it easier to incapacitate and tame creatures. The mod also includes a tame helper that reduces the food value of knocked-out creatures, speeding up the taming process.
Upgrade Station
The Upgrade Station mod allows players to improve the quality of their gear in Ark: Survival Ascended. It enables upgrading from basic level gear to Ascendant quality, covering weapons, armor, saddles, structures, and even Tek items. The mod also includes the ability to salvage items for resources. Future updates will introduce additional features like pulling resources from nearby containers and standalone versions of all stations with metal and Tek versions.
