1. No Killing Allowed
In this roleplay idea, you are forbidden from killing anyone. Instead, you must find non-lethal tactics to overcome challenges. This will be a difficult challenge, requiring careful decision-making and potentially frequent save reloading. You can choose whether or not this rule applies to your companions as well.
2. Embrace Your Inner Arsehole
In this roleplay, you embrace your inner jerk and make all the meanest and harshest choices in dialogue. Opt for the more evil story options and show indifference to the problems of others. This is a great way to release any frustrations and let loose your inner arsehole.
3. Illithid Lover
Embrace your Illithid powers from the start and refuse to get rid of the tadpole in your brain. Make it clear in every situation that you enjoy having a baby Illithid slithering around in your head. Take advantage of any additional tadpoles you encounter and embrace the Emperor’s offer to fully embrace your Illithid nature.
4. Bear Necessities
If you choose to play as a Druid, challenge yourself by only using your bear form. Transform into a bear whenever possible and treat it as dying if you sustain enough damage to revert back to your original form. This will make all your Druid spells and abilities useless, but it adds a unique challenge to your playthrough. Alternatively, you can do the same with a wolf form.
5. The Goat
Use the “Was a goat for 10 years” mod and play as a character who spent the past decade as a goat. Enjoy the perks that come with this background, including Animal Handling and Athletics. This roleplay idea adds a fun twist to your playthrough and allows you to embrace your inner goat.
6. The Assassin
Play as an assassin and focus on stealth and silent eliminations. Choose the Rogue class and follow the Assassin path, ensuring that your character is never caught and disposes of enemies quietly. Stealth is key, and being spotted is not allowed. Be prepared to reload saves if you are detected.
7. Fix Minthara
Challenge yourself to “fix” the evil character Minthara and make her a valued member of society. This will require making questionable choices, such as betraying the Druids and Tieflings early in the campaign. Recruiting Minthara is not easy, but with specific steps, you can save her from Moonrise Towers and work towards changing her behavior.
8. Oathbreaker
Choose the Paladin class and select a Sacred Oath, only to break it promptly. This can be done early in the campaign and will open up the Oathbreaker path for your character. See how the story unfolds as you deviate from your initial oath. Alternatively, you can choose to remain focused on being a Paladin who stays true to their oath.
