Despite promises of improved spawn points in the launch day patch for Modern Warfare 3, players are still experiencing consistent spawning in the same location. This issue is causing chaos and frustration among players, potentially deterring them from trying out multiplayer.
A video posted by content creator Nixstah showcases the problem on the Quarry map, where players from both teams continuously spawn in the exact same spot. This results in easy kills and a lack of strategic gameplay.
The patch notes mentioned the addition of spawn anchors to influence combat flow according to each map’s design. However, it seems that these changes have not been effective or have not been implemented properly.
It is unclear whether Quarry specifically requires further adjustments or if this is a rare occurrence. Nevertheless, this issue reflects poorly on the game just hours before its worldwide release.
MW3’s multiplayer and Zombies servers are set to launch at midnight local time on consoles and at 11pm CT on PC via Steam or Battle.net.
