While most players eagerly await the full launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Activision is already looking ahead to Season One. Set to arrive next month, Season One promises to deliver a host of thrilling additions to the game.
Activision has revealed that Season One will include three brand-new six-vs-six maps for the core multiplayer experience. These maps will offer fresh and exciting gameplay, separate from any previous iterations in the franchise. Additionally, Activision has confirmed that it will introduce more older maps from previous games, including some from Modern Warfare 2, in their own dedicated playlist.
Furthermore, Season One will introduce a new Warzone map called Urzikstan. Currently playable in the Modern Warfare Zombies mode, this map combines elements from DMZ and Outbreak, offering a unique twist on the traditional Zombies mode. Players can also look forward to uncovering additional storylines and secrets within the Modern Warfare Zombies mode.
In terms of multiplayer modes, Season One will bring Gunfight, All or Nothing, and other exciting additions. There will also be a special holiday event to celebrate the season. As with previous Call of Duty seasons, players can expect new weapons, operators, skins, blueprints, and more through the battle pass, providing numerous unlockable rewards.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches tonight on PC at 11pm CT, with a worldwide rollout release at midnight local time. Season One is set to kick off on either December 6 or 13, promising even more thrilling content for players to enjoy.
