Falcons Signs TI Champions for Dota 2 Roster, Tundra Esports Announces Departure

Xavier Ward

After Dota 2’s The International 2023, Falcons has shown interest in the game and has signed a competitive roster featuring TI winners. The team, consisting of Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu, Oliver “skiter” Lepko, Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf, Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen, and Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak, has registered for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023’s open qualifiers. Although Falcons has not officially announced the signing, the roster’s participation in the tournament suggests their affiliation with the organization.

Tundra Esports bid farewell to skiter and Sneyking, who have left the team to embark on a new journey. The departure of these two legendary players marks the end of their time with Tundra Esports, and the organization wishes them success and many more victories in their Dota 2 careers.

The first set of open qualifiers for the Kuala Lumpur event is scheduled to begin on November 12th, which means the roster may need to register before an official announcement is made. It remains uncertain which region Falcons will represent at the event, as four of the players are from Europe while Falcons is a MENA-based organization. They may choose to participate in the MENA qualifiers if they meet the event organizers’ requirements.

While the Western European region has experienced a slow shuffle season, Team Secret has welcomed back two familiar faces to its Dota 2 roster. The rest of the region is patiently waiting for further changes. Despite being an unexpected partnership, the Falcons roster has generated significant excitement among Dota 2 fans.

Sneyking, skiter, ATF, and Cr1t are well-known names in the Dota 2 community, but the addition of Malr1ne brings a fresh talent to the team. Malr1ne, a 19-year-old prodigy, previously played for Nemiga Gaming and has consistently ranked high in Dota 2’s ladder.

Dot Esports has reached out to Falcons for comment.
