T1 emerged victorious against JD Gaming in a thrilling semifinal match, securing their place in the League of Legends Worlds 2023 final. The win also means that T1 will be the home team in the final, giving fans in attendance a team to root for.

T1, a powerhouse Korean organization, will be making their sixth appearance in the Worlds final. With three major trophies already under their belt, they are determined to add a fourth Summoner’s Cup to their collection. Led by the legendary Faker, T1 showcased their dominance in the series against JDG.

After a heartbreaking loss in last year’s final, T1 is eager to make up for it this time. Their top laner Zeus expressed his determination to leave no regrets behind. T1 will face Weibo Gaming in the final, marking their fourth consecutive matchup against an LPL team.

T1 has had an impressive run in their home Worlds, defeating every LPL seed to reach the final. JDG, as the top seed from the LPL, proved to be a tough opponent. However, T1 started strong with a convincing victory in the first game.

JDG quickly bounced back in the second game, resetting the momentum T1 had gained. But T1’s support player Keria played a crucial role in regaining control for his team in the third game. Faker’s incredible play on Azir caught JDG off guard and T1 capitalized on the opportunity to secure the win.

The series ended with T1 dominating JDG in back-to-back team fights at Dragon, sealing their victory and a spot in the final. The match garnered significant attention, with over 4.3 million viewers tuning in, making it the second-highest viewership for a League professional series.

T1’s top laner Zeus expressed his determination to leave no regrets behind this time. The stage is set for an epic showdown between T1 and Weibo Gaming in the Worlds 2023 grand final, scheduled for November 19 at 3am CT.
