Riot Games has implemented a major update for Teamfight Tactics Set 10 on the PBE, focusing on nerfing overpowered champions and the Heartsteel trait. The update, known as Remix Rumble, was released on November 13 and is expected to be the final significant change before the official launch of Set 10.
The Heartsteel trait, which had been performing too well, has undergone adjustments to make it more balanced. The breakpoints for the trait have been increased, making it harder for players to reach the maximum power boost potential. Previously, it was relatively easy to achieve nine Heartsteel, especially with Spatulas on the Carousel. However, the maximum breakpoint has now been raised to 10, requiring players to craft two Heartsteel emblems and have a Heartsteel Headline champion.
Two champions, Ekko and Sona, have also received nerfs due to their strong performance in the early testing phase of Set 10. Ekko, who was considered a sleeper champion, has had his spell damage reduced across all star levels. Sona, on the other hand, has seen significant reductions in her healing and shielding abilities, making her less dominant in battles.
Despite the nerfs, not all changes were negative. Jax, for example, has received slight buffs to improve his performance. Additionally, Zed and Neeko have been given balance adjustments to enhance their abilities.
Players can continue to test out the changes in TFT Set 10 Remix Rumble on the PBE servers. The official launch of Set 10 is scheduled for November 21.
