Last year, Elden Ring and God of War Ragnorök dominated the nominations and ultimately took home the most awards. While God of War won more accolades, Elden Ring claimed the prestigious game of the year title. This year, Alan Wake 2 and Baldur’s Gate 3 are poised to win multiple awards, with their distinct genres offering little overlap in categories.
Baldur’s Gate 3, developed by Larian Studios, was released in August and has garnered praise for its decision-driven, Dungeons & Dragons-inspired gameplay. On the other hand, Alan Wake 2, a survival horror game developed by Remedy Entertainment, benefits from its recent release on October 27th, generating buzz and anticipation among gamers.
