Riot Games and YouTube Gaming have joined forces to bring the 2023 League of Legends World Championship to an even larger global audience. In preparation for the finals between T1 and Weibo Gaming, new watch parties and official co-streams have been announced.
This partnership will introduce a fresh lineup of co-streamers, including popular names like Sykkuno for North America, Flow Games for Brazil, Kerios and special guest Holdem Hammers for Spain, and TesterHoon and friends (including pro player Bang) for Korea. These additions will enhance the already vibrant roster of over 50 streamers from nearly 20 countries.
But the collaboration between YouTube Gaming and Riot goes beyond digital enhancements. The companies will also host dynamic global viewing parties, with two of them taking place in Vietnam. This will provide fans who are unable to attend the finals in Seoul with a space to come together and celebrate the thrilling moments of the competition.
This partnership reflects Riot’s commitment to expanding the Worlds experience for fans and attracting an even larger audience. Compared to the previous MSI event, where there were fewer than 40 co-streams, Riot has opened the doors for Worlds and expanded the program, likely resulting in a significant increase in viewership to conclude the year.
As the anticipation builds, fans eagerly await the announcement of the winner of the 2023 World Championship. Meanwhile, Riot and its partners are anxiously waiting to see how many viewers will tune in to watch T1 face off against Weibo on November 19 at 2am CT.
