The Zombies mode in MW3, also known as MWZ, is more of an extraction game type similar to DMZ in Warzone. Players are already looking to the DMZ mode for inspiration on what could be added to MWZ. One Reddit user, The_Gentle_Welsh, recently shared their ideas on borrowing features from DMZ, specifically the Forward Operating Base (FOB).
The FOB in DMZ offers passive upgrades that enhance the gameplay experience and provide rewards for dedicated players. The_Gentle_Welsh suggests implementing similar passive upgrades in MWZ deployments. For example, reducing the cost of Pack-a-Punch weapons or adding attachment slots for contraband weapons would be welcome additions for players who work hard to unlock them.
It is highly likely that the enhancements seen in DMZ will make their way to MWZ in some form in the future. These features can be added and marketed as “new” content for the Zombies mode in seasonal updates. Season one of MW3 is set to begin on December 6th, and players can expect more content and updates throughout the coming year.
