Vitality Reloads Roster with Vetheo and Hylissang

Xavier Ward

Team Vitality is making big moves in the LEC roster shuffle, as they secure former Team Heretics Midlaner Vincent “Vetheo” Berrié and talented support player Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov, according to a report from Sheep Esports. With these additions, Vitality aims to reclaim their position at the top of the league.

The LEC has been buzzing with roster changes, including Rekkles leaving Fnatic and transitioning to the support role. Karmine Corp joins the league, G2 surprises everyone by keeping their roster intact, and KOI faces challenges after parting ways with Infinite Reality. Ibai Llanos manages to retain the KOI brand but had to make some tough decisions.

Vitality is strategically reinforcing key positions in their lineup. Alongside Vetheo, they are reportedly bringing in Hylissang, who had a mixed performance with MAD Lions. Additionally, they are parting ways with Luka “Perkz” Perković and promoting their academy jungler to the main roster.

In the past, Vitality attempted to build a super team in the LEC but fell short of expectations. While they had a strong start in the Winter Split and finished third in the Spring Split, they plummeted to last place in the Summer Split. Their international performance was equally disappointing, with only one victory across MSI and Worlds. Fans expected more success both domestically and internationally.

Historically, Vitality has been known for investing heavily in their teams across various esports. However, with new salary cap restrictions and their previous struggles in 2023, it remains uncertain how they will approach their roster decisions.

Time Score
Winter Split regular season Strong start
Spring Split Finished third
Summer Split regular season Last place finish
MSI and Worlds Only one victory
