Riot Games marked a milestone as Teamfight Tactics reached its tenth set at Worlds on Nov. 19. To celebrate, Pengu and Choncc mixed beats created by DJ and producer Steve Aoki specifically for Set 10, Remix Rumble.
TFT Set 10 revolves around music, featuring bands like K/DA and Heartsteel as traits. When a trait is activated on a player’s board, its musical track mashes together with existing tracks, turning the player into a DJ while strategically building a comp to win the lobby. At Worlds, Riot unveiled a special music video featuring Steve Aoki to announce the live launch of TFT Set 10.
Lead composer Kole Hicks collaborated with Aoki to create the soundtrack for the Remix Rumble musical trailer. Hicks provided tracks from various genres, mirroring the diverse musical styles players will encounter in the game. Aoki selected elements that resonated with him and built a remix based on the concept of weaving different musical styles together while still sounding great as a standalone track. Hicks then took Aoki’s stems and added his own touch to create a custom music track that complements the video.
In TFT Set 10, players can enjoy the experience of mashing together various musical tracks through champions like Jhin and Bard. The main mechanic in Remix Rumble is the Headliner bonus, which showcases the abilities of all 60 champions in Set 10.
Players can already test out TFT Set 10 on PBE servers, and the official release date for Remix Rumble is Nov. 21.
