Team Spirit was in need of a new mid laner after TORONTOTOKYO’s departure, and they had their eyes on OG’s Bozhidar “Bzm” Bogdanov. However, OG declined Spirit’s proposal to buy out Bzm, choosing to keep him as their star player.
Yatoro, a fan of Bzm’s gameplay, expressed his confusion over OG’s recent roster changes. He believed that OG should have built their roster around Bzm instead of bringing in Wisper and Ari from different regions.
Despite the missed opportunity, Spirit went on to sign Denis “Larl” Sigitov as their mid laner. The team had a slow start with the new addition but showed improvement towards the end of the season, winning major tournaments and establishing Larl as one of the best mid laners in the world.
