Blizzard is spreading the holiday cheer this Thanksgiving by offering players a delightful treat and an opportunity to earn easy battle pass experience in Overwatch 2. As part of the weekly shop reset, Blizzard has introduced a new Pumpkin Pie weapon charm that players can acquire for free. Although it requires players to “purchase” the charm, it comes at no cost, making it a generous giveaway from Blizzard.
It’s important to note that the charm won’t be automatically added to players’ accounts upon logging in. Players will need to visit the OW shop and “purchase” it, but with a price tag of 0 OW coins, it’s essentially a freebie.
Additionally, following the conclusion of the Le Sserafim collaboration event, a new event called “Catch Up with Mauga” has begun. This event offers players the chance to earn up to 37,500 battle pass experience and a Mauga spray through a set of easily achievable challenges. With just four challenges to complete, players only need to participate in games to earn rewards.
By completing eight, sixteen, and twenty-four games, players will receive 7,500 XP at each milestone. Upon completing thirty-two games, players will be rewarded with a Mauga spray and 15,000 season seven battle pass XP. It’s worth noting that wins count as double, allowing players to complete these challenges in half the number of games. Games can be completed in Quick Play, the arcade, or even Competitive mode.
This event presents an excellent opportunity for players to earn nearly four levels of battle pass experience before season eight commences on December 5th. By taking advantage of this event, players can easily unlock the coveted Mythic Hanzo skin.
