Ironmace, the developer of the popular multiplayer fantasy extraction title Dark and Darker, has partnered with Krafton, the publisher of PUBG Mobile, to bring the game to mobile devices. This comes after Dark and Darker was removed from Steam. Krafton expressed excitement about adapting the game for a new community of fans on mobile.
Krafton confirmed the news in a press release, commending Ironmace for its compelling game and expressing interest in its potential. Despite an ongoing lawsuit with Nexon over alleged idea theft, Krafton remains committed to adapting Dark and Darker into a mobile game.
The extent of the adaptation is yet to be revealed, but it is expected to follow a similar approach as PUBG Mobile, with simplified controls, interface, and graphics tailored for mobile devices. PC players who prefer the original version can still access it on PC through the Chaf Games digital store.
