Niantic has reminded players who have attended previous Pokémon GO Fest live events in New York, London, or Osaka that they will receive Diancie Candy instead of an additional Diancie encounter during Pokémon GO Fest 2023: Global. This ensures fairness for all participants.
Global Event Offers Diancie Encounter through Global Research
Players who have already caught Diancie will receive Diancie candies instead of another encounter through the Global event. The Global Research will reward players with a Diancie encounter upon completion.
Additional Content and Rewards at Pokémon GO Fest 2023
In addition to the Diancie encounter, Pokémon GO Fest 2023 will feature a wide range of content, encounters, rewards, and more. The event will introduce Diancie’s Mega-Evolution and also showcase Mega-Rayquaza and Carbink for the first time worldwide.
The event will include increased spawn rates for Shiny Pokémon in rotating habitats, as well as Rayquaza Raids and Meteorites through a free Special Research on Sunday.

Pokémon GO Fest 2023 will take place simultaneously in London, Osaka, and New York City on Aug. 26 and 27. Players from around the world can also purchase a ticket for the event’s Global edition, which offers the same rewards and bonuses through Global Research.
