Blizzard Entertainment has put an end to a clever leveling method used by World of Warcraft players in WoW Classic Hardcore. Night Elf players attempting to leave their homeland and venture into Elwynn Forest and Westfall will now face increased security on the coast of Westfall, with 15 additional murloc mobs added to deter them.
In WoW Classic, Night Elves typically take a ship from Darkshore to Wetlands and then swim to the shores of Westfall for leveling. This route is favored because Darkshore is dangerous for questing, especially for Night Elves who may encounter few fellow players. However, Blizzard’s recent update aims to keep Night Elves where they belong, forcing them to face the challenges of Darkshore instead.
Despite this setback, there are still alternative methods for Night Elves to join their friends in Westfall. One option is the Wetlands deathless skip, where players traverse the mountains and head to Ironforge. From there, they can take a tram directly to Stormwind. Another option is to use the Stuck Character Service, accessible through the game’s support menu, which teleports players instantly to Stormwind without the need for running or swimming.
