Diablo 4’s latest patch, update 1.13, brings nerfs to several enemy crowd control effects. The aim is to address oppressive scenarios where players feel overwhelmed by crowd control abilities.
The update focuses on monster abilities and elite affixes, making changes such as reducing the stun duration of Nangari Snake Eyes from 1.5 to 1.25 seconds and preventing Cold Enchanted Elites from proccing Cold Enchanted when attacking in quick succession. These adjustments aim to give players more recovery time after being crowd controlled, especially at higher World Tiers.
In addition to these changes, the patch includes bug fixes, such as ensuring Echo of Varshan drops a guaranteed Legendary after level 35 and resolving issues with Cormond not appearing after defeating Varshan. The update also improves the sorting consistency of Affixes, laying the foundation for easier comparison of random Affixes in the future.
These updates should address player concerns and provide a better gameplay experience. However, players are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Diablo 4’s season two, Season of Blood, on Oct. 17.
