Starfield: Is it Really Going to be Less Buggy Than Previous Bethesda Games?

superadmin

Starfield, the highly anticipated game from Bethesda, has raised concerns among players about its potential for bugs and glitches. However, early indications from developers and insiders suggest that Starfield may actually be one of Bethesda’s least buggy games.

Starfield is generating a lot of hype as it marks Bethesda’s first new universe in 25 years and has been in development for a decade. Unfortunately, recent game releases have been plagued with bugs, leading players to become skeptical and hesitant to pre-order titles. They would rather wait and see how buggy a game is before making a purchase or considering other options.

In an effort to address these concerns, Matt Booty, head of Xbox Games Studios, reassured fans that Starfield will have “the fewest bugs of all Bethesda games.” He stated that the developers have been working tirelessly to thoroughly test every aspect of the game to ensure a smooth launch.

Given the disappointment surrounding Redfall, many have questioned whether the Starfield developers are truly capable of eliminating bugs or if the game will be just as glitchy, if not worse. However, Tyler McVicker, a games journalist who had the opportunity to play Starfield early, mentioned in Discord that he hadn’t encountered any bugs after 15 hours of gameplay.

While it may seem unlikely for any game to be completely bug-free, it’s possible that McVicker simply didn’t encounter any game-breaking or obvious bugs during his playthrough. Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming also reported that his sources claim Starfield has very few bugs, and any issues that were experienced will be promptly addressed.

Considering Bethesda’s track record with both major and minor releases, it is reassuring to hear that Starfield will have fewer bugs compared to their previous titles. However, this doesn’t mean that the game is entirely bug-free. Fortunately, the bugs that do exist are not game-breaking. Ultimately, the truth of these claims will only be revealed when players get their hands on Starfield on September 6th.
