Pokémon Go players have successfully completed all 20 global challenges during the Go Fest event on Aug. 26 and 27, unlocking bonus rewards and events in the game. Developer Niantic has announced that Ultra Unlock bonuses will be given to players soon, although the specific details and events have not been revealed yet.
In a tweet, Niantic congratulated the players for their achievement and teased the upcoming bonuses and events. There is speculation among Pokémon Go players that the bonuses might be related to the introduction of the Paldea Pokémon Quaquaval, which is expected to be featured in the next season of the game.
Niantic had previously announced that the Paldea starters (Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly) would be added to Pokémon Go in September, but did not provide any information about their evolutions. It seems that the entire Evolution line of these Pokémon will also be included in the game.
Meanwhile, players still have four days left to enjoy the bonuses of the current Hidden Gems season, which will end on Sept. 1. These bonuses include increased XP points for spinning PokéStops for seven consecutive days and extra Stardust for catching Pokémon during the same duration.
Niantic will reveal the specific bonus rewards for completing the Global Challenges of Pokémon Go Fest in the coming days.
