World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore just launched, and I decided to join the hype train and experience the game’s difficulty firsthand. However, I made a firm decision right from the start—I will never step foot into a dungeon. Here’s why:
I Have Trust Issues
My refusal to enter dungeons in WoW Classic Hardcore stems from my trust issues. I simply can’t rely on random players who may panic when faced with challenging situations. While it’s normal to encounter obstacles during dungeon runs, many players struggle to remain calm and find creative solutions to survive.
Putting my life in the hands of four other players is already a gamble, and I don’t want to risk it further. Dungeons require teamwork, and it’s crucial to stick together through thick and thin, rather than running away at the first sign of trouble. I value my character’s life and don’t want to jeopardize it by joining a group of potential griefers and trolls.
XP Isn’t an Issue
Some may argue that entering dungeons is necessary for leveling up quickly, but that’s not the case in WoW Classic Hardcore. The game is played on the last patch, which means all the quests that were missing in the early stages are now available. I have plenty of quests to complete, and if needed, I can resort to traditional methods like farming boars for experience.
There’s no shortage of quests in Hardcore, and I’m determined to complete all the open-world quests available. I may need to invest in good walking shoes, but I’m willing to explore every corner of the game world to gain experience and progress.
In conclusion, my decision to avoid dungeons in WoW Classic Hardcore is driven by my trust issues and the abundance of alternative questing options. I prefer to take it slow, enjoy the journey, and minimize the risk of losing my beloved character.
