Jett mains were devastated when they learned that their beloved VALORANT agent would be nerfed in Episode 7 Act Two. However, they have already discovered ways to work around the changes, especially on the updated map Breeze.
One of the major blows Jett received was a decrease in her Updraft ability from two charges to one. Updraft not only provides Jett with extra movement to combo with her Blade Storm ultimate but also allows her to reach high spots on the map that most other agents cannot access. With only one charge now, Jett’s options for plays are significantly limited.
For instance, Jett used to rely on Updraft to reach the pyramids on Breeze’s A site, but now she falls short without the extra charge. However, shortly after Patch 7.04 went live on Aug. 29, a player shared a clip demonstrating how to get Jett on top of the pyramids without using Updraft at all.
To achieve this, the player explained that you simply need to utilize Jett’s passive ability, Drift, and spam crouch. The best part about this exploit is that Jett’s Drift is completely free, so you do not need to spend any money or charge for it, unlike with the Updraft ability.
Of course, you wouldn’t want to slowly climb the pyramid during a battle, but it is excellent for positioning Jett at the start of the round.
While Jett mains consider this a small victory amidst the devastating nerfs, they are also concerned that this may be a bug that will be fixed later on. Some even suggest deleting the post to ensure Riot does not discover the glitch.
In the meantime, take advantage of this exploit in your Breeze matches while it is still available.
