Marvel Snap is about to get a whole lot more mischievous in its next seasonal update. Loki, the Asgardian God of Mischief, and other related characters are joining the game for September’s season, “Loki for All Time.” Fans of the Loki show on Disney Plus will be especially thrilled to see who’s coming to the game this month.
The first card introduced in this season is Loki himself. As the season pass card, Loki is appropriately chaotic. With a cost of three and a power of five, his On Reveal ability allows you to “replace your hand with cards from your opponent’s starting deck” and “give them -1 cost.” Playing Loki is like taking a shot in the dark, reflecting the character’s nature of pure chaos. It could either lead to a huge payoff or serve as an automatic retreat button.
Later in the season, Alioth will be added to the game through weekly updates. Alioth acts as a hard counter to cards like Galactus, destroying all enemy cards played at its location in the same turn.
Mobius M. Mobius, made famous by Owen Wilson in the Disney Plus show, is an Ongoing card that prevents your costs from being increased and your opponent’s costs from being decreased. Ravonna Renslayer, another character from the Loki show, reduces the cost of cards in your hand with one or less power by one.
The season pass variants include Loki, Enchantress, and Thor, featuring stunning artwork. Additionally, Wolverine, White Queen, and Jeff the Baby Land Shark will receive new variants during this season.
Marvel Snap’s “Loki for All Time” season kicks off next week on Monday, Sept. 4 at 10pm CT.
