Starfield Map Design Frustrates Players in Early Access

superadmin

Players in the early access version of Starfield are expressing frustration with the game’s map design. Many find it unhelpful for navigating the confusing cities and planets within the game. The city of New Atlantis, in particular, has been cited as a large and difficult-to-navigate location. Without mission markers, players struggle to find important places like shops. Some players have compared the map design to older Bethesda games like Skyrim, criticizing it as a poor choice.

Another common complaint is the lack of city maps in general. Players feel that having maps for cities, especially New Atlantis, would greatly improve their navigation experience. Some players speculate that community mods may be created to address this issue if Bethesda does not take action. Bethesda has not yet responded to these complaints, leaving players uncertain about potential map changes.

Despite these map-related frustrations, Starfield has received positive reviews from both critics and fans. The game has already reached a peak concurrent player count of over 200,000 at the time of writing, despite still being in early access.
