Palworld, the upcoming creature collector game from Pocketpair, creators of Craftopia, is set to offer a unique twist on Shinies, along with a variety of weapon options for Pals.
In an interview with Dot Esports, Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe revealed some exciting details about Palworld’s take on Shinies. While not exactly like “Shiny Pokémon,” Palworld will feature special Pals that differ from the regular ones. For instance, players exploring the Palpagos Islands may come across Alpha Pals, which are huge and powerful creatures. Additionally, Lucky Pals, with their size mutations and luminous appearance, will prove to be more ferocious but can become formidable allies if captured.
Mizobe also mentioned that each Pal in Palworld has its own preferred weapon, and not all Pals use guns. So, players seeking a Pal armed with an M16 will need to find the right one. However, the development team is considering the possibility of adding gun customization in the future.
