JerAx Claims Ludwig’s World’s Greatest Gamer Event Was Harder Than Some Dota 2 Tournaments

superadmin

Two-time TI winner Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka recently competed in Ludwig’s World’s Greatest Gamer event and surprised everyone by stating that it was even more challenging than some of his Dota 2 tournaments. Despite not having confidence in his gameplay, JerAx showcased his natural-born skills and performed exceptionally well in various games throughout the event.

In the tournament, which featured games like Fall Guys, XDefiant, Fortnite, Trackmania, CS:GO, and Street Fighter, JerAx displayed a solid understanding of almost all the titles. He secured second place twice in Fortnite, won a round in Trackmania, topped his group in CS:GO, and emerged victorious in Street Fighter. His universal gaming skills impressed many Dota 2 fans, especially considering the presence of professional first-person shooter and fighter game specialists in the competition.

Despite the intense training undertaken by most participants, including JerAx, he did not expect to progress to the later stages of the tournament as he was primarily prepared for Fortnite and Trackmania. However, his exceptional performance proved otherwise.

Another familiar name for Dota 2 fans, Saahil “Universe” Arora, also participated in the event. Although overshadowed by JerAx’s run, Universe’s presence was a pleasant surprise as he had been away from competitive gaming since 2020.

After retiring in 2020, JerAx briefly returned to competitive Dota 2 in 2022 with Evil Geniuses. However, his second stint was not as successful, leading him to switch to coaching until the end of 2022 before ultimately returning to retirement.

Overall, JerAx’s performance in Ludwig’s World’s Greatest Gamer event showcased his exceptional gaming skills and proved that he can excel in various game genres, even surpassing the challenges of some Dota 2 tournaments.
