Today marks the second part of Pokémon Go’s Paldea event, featuring the debut of Pawmi, Nymble, and Bombirdeier. However, there seems to be a problem—Frigibax, the fourth Pokémon promised for this event, is nowhere to be found.
Frigibax, the highly anticipated pseudo-legendary Pokémon from the Paldea region, was supposed to make its debut today alongside the other Paldea Pokémon. However, players are reporting extreme difficulty in finding even a single Frigibax.
The Pokémon Go community has expressed frustration over the rarity of Frigibax during the first day of the event. Some players have caught thousands of Pokémon but have only encountered two Frigibax, while others haven’t found any at all.
While it’s understandable that Frigibax is meant to be a rare find, it defeats the purpose if it’s virtually impossible to encounter. Players are disappointed that Niantic didn’t make Frigibax more accessible, especially considering its prominent role in the event’s promotional material.
Many players are suggesting that Frigibax should be added to raids, similar to Bombirdier, to give everyone a fair chance of obtaining one. As it stands, it seems we’ll have to wait for Frigibax’s community day or Go Fest appearance to have any hope of finding this elusive ice dragon.
