Starfield Breaks Records with Over 300,000 Concurrent Players on Steam

superadmin

Starfield, the highly anticipated space exploration game, has already achieved remarkable success even before its official launch. With positive reviews from critics and a massive player base during its early access period, the game has surpassed even Skyrim’s record for peak concurrent players on Steam.

During its early access period, Starfield reached an impressive peak of 230,000 concurrent players on Steam. On its full release date of September 6, it soared to an all-time high of 269,177 concurrent players on Steam. Within the first 27 hours of its launch, it surpassed over a million concurrent players across all platforms. And now, the game has achieved a new peak of 313,993 concurrent players on Steam, surpassing Skyrim’s record.

As of now, there are over 300,000 players currently enjoying Starfield on Steam, and this number is likely even higher when considering its availability on Game Pass and other platforms.

It’s important to note that while Starfield’s current concurrent player peak is impressive, it falls short of Fallout 4’s all-time peak of 472,962 players, which was achieved over eight years ago. Nevertheless, Starfield continues to thrive with over 6 million players across all platforms, making it Bethesda’s most successful launch to date.

Currently available on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and Game Pass, Starfield has broken multiple records and shows no signs of slowing down. With its ongoing success, it is poised to break even more records in the future.
