Fnatic Parts Ways with Head Coach mini

superadmin

Fnatic, one of the most successful VALORANT esports teams, has made a surprising roster change by releasing their head coach, Jacob “mini” Harris. The decision came from mini himself, who decided to step down in order to achieve a better work-life balance.

Despite their incredible achievements in the VCT 2024 campaign, mini made the personal choice to explore other options for his career. Fnatic fans have shown support for his decision, understanding the importance of mental health in the esports industry.

Under mini’s guidance, Fnatic secured two international trophies this year. They emerged victorious at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo in March and later claimed the title of Masters Tokyo in June. However, they fell short in their domestic league, finishing second after losing to Team Liquid. In VALORANT Champions 2023, they reached the fourth position after a defeat against LOUD in the lower bracket semifinal.

Mini’s departure marks the end of an era for Fnatic. He was the head coach of SUMN FC, the team that Fnatic acquired in 2021. Now, only Boaster remains on the roster.

With the conclusion of VALORANT Champions 2023, more roster changes are expected in the coming months. Stay tuned for further updates.
