superadmin

Riot Games is set to launch the final update for Teamfight Tactics Mid-Set on Sept. 13. This update, known as Set 9.5, will introduce new traits, champions, system changes, and cosmetics. The update will also include the departure of 16 champions and three traits, making way for new traits such as Ixtal, Bilgewater, and Vanquisher. Additionally, the update will feature new TFT Set 9.5 Region Portals as part of the Runeterra Reforged: Horizonbound set.

TFT Set 9 Ranked Rewards

With the launch of the TFT Set 9.5 Mid-Set update, all Ranked players will undergo a soft reset. Players will have five provisional matches where they cannot lose LP but can earn extra LP through top four placements. Master Rank and above players will be reset to Diamond Four, while other Ranked players will drop one full tier (e.g., Gold Two drops to Silver Two).

Rewards for TFT Set Nine will be given to all players who achieved Gold or higher in Standard and Double Up modes, as well as to all Hyper Roll players who reached Green or higher. These rewards include a Chibi Star Guardian Lux emote.

Patch 13.18 TFT System Trait Changes

TFT Set 9.5 introduces a new system that categorizes the power level of traits. Vertical traits like Six Piltover, Nine Bilgewater, Nine Demacia, Nine Ionia, Nine Noxus, and Nine Shurmia are now classified as Prismatic tier. These traits are meant to be powerful and should lead to top placements in a lobby.

Several traits have been downgraded from Prismatic to Gold. While still strong end-game trait compositions, they are not as powerful as those in the Prismatic classification. The Gold traits for TFT Set 9.5 are as follows:

– Eight Bastion, Challenger, Invoker, Sorcerer, and Void
– Six Gunner, Vanquisher, and Zaun
– Five Strategist
– Four Ixtal and Targon
– Three Freljord

Other system changes in the Mid-Set update include adjustments to extra critical strike chance damage above 100 percent, a reduction in the chance of a massive loot drop in one round, and a decrease in the Shred and Sunder percentages.

TFT Patch 13.18 Trait Balance Changes

As part of the Set 9.5 update, the Shadow Isles, Yordles, and Deadeye traits will be removed from TFT. For the remaining traits, various balance adjustments have been made. Here are the changes:

– Bastion: Base armor and magic resistance reduced
– Bruiser: Bonus maximum health adjusted
– Darkin: New breakpoints and tiebreaker mechanics
– Demacia: Elite bonus reworked
– Freljord: Breakpoints and enemy effects adjusted
– Invoker: New eight-piece breakpoint
– Ionia: Bonus enlightened spirits increased
– Multicaster: Damage reduction reduced

– Shurima: Breakpoints and ascension bonuses changed
– Slayer: Breakpoints and bonus damage adjusted
– Sorcerer: Ability power and maximum health explosion adjusted
– Void: Rift Herald and Baron bonuses adjusted
– Zaun: Chem Mod gain and stats adjusted

TFT Patch 13.18 Champion Balance Changes

The Mid-Set update will see the departure of 16 champions from TFT Set 9.5. Additionally, eight champions that made the Mid-Set update cut have been adjusted. Here are the changes for each cost tier:

– One-cost champions: Adjustments to abilities and traits
– Two-cost champions: Changes to abilities and traits
– Three-cost champions: Adjustments to abilities and traits
– Four-cost champions: Changes to abilities and traits
– Five-cost champions: Adjustments to abilities and traits

Patch 13.18 Bug Fixes
