Game Freak has already started preparing for the future of Pokémon SV: The Indigo Disk, as hints about upcoming content have been discovered by dataminers. The recent update for The Teal Mask DLC included placeholder entries for new abilities, Pokémon species, moves, and items that are believed to be reserved for The Indigo Disk. While the specifics are not confirmed, it appears that there will be four new abilities, eight new Pokémon species, 15 new moves, and 76 new items added in the second part of the DLC.
Speculation is already running wild about the new Pokémon species, with four slots remaining after confirming Raging Bolt, Iron Crown, Archaludon, and Terapagos. Two of these slots are expected to be filled by Paradox versions of Entei and Terrakion, completing their respective Legendary trios. There is also a possibility of a third evolution for Applin, known as Dipplin. The final slot remains a mystery, with no current rumors fitting into it.
Additional information from the datamine reveals that Ogerpon’s different masks will be held items rather than key items. A new item called the Glimmering Charm will also be introduced, which increases the number of Tera Shards earned after completing a raid. Furthermore, there are several spots reserved for new TMs, although the moves they contain have not been disclosed.
