Counter-Strike 2’s highly anticipated Premier mode has breathed new life into the game, but unfortunately, it has also become a breeding ground for cheaters. The beta version of Premier has been plagued by an influx of players using unfair tactics to dominate the leaderboards.
Thour, a respected figure in the CS community, recently shared a video clip exposing the top global players in Premier queuing with blatant cheaters. These cheaters, with names withheld, boast a perfect 100 percent win rate on the leaderboard, highlighting Valve’s struggle to combat this issue.
In the clip, Thour showcases a player named RUSTIC, who has achieved an almost impossible feat of maintaining a 100 percent win rate after 91 games. However, it becomes evident that RUSTIC and another player from the same server are teamed up with a cheater called Black Magician.
Black Magician’s cheating is blatantly obvious as they confidently pre-fire from position to position, targeting only spots where enemies are present. This behavior raises suspicions, as pre-firing is a common tactic in Counter-Strike, but it becomes questionable when players consistently pre-fire only enemy locations.
During the game, Black Magician neglects to plant the bomb despite having possession of it for most of the round and successfully taking control of the A site on Mirage. Instead, they continue to pre-fire incoming enemies. Watching this gameplay, it is nearly impossible to deny that Black Magician is cheating.
While RUSTIC and their friend high on the leaderboard may not be cheating themselves, Thour suggests that they are exploiting the system by queuing with Black Magician and other cheaters to climb the ranks.
It is crucial for Valve to address this issue promptly and enhance their anti-cheat system. Cheaters have no place in CS2, and it is imperative to maintain the integrity of the game.
