Omen, the meta controller agent on VALORANT’s new map, Sunset, has a game-breaking teleport spot that gives players an unfair advantage. This bug allows Omen to reach elevated areas that other agents cannot access, and it’s causing quite a stir in the community.
A player recently posted a clip on Reddit showcasing this broken teleport spot. By using Omen’s Shrouded Step ability, players can gain a sneaky vantage point over the green Radianite box in A Main. This unexpected position can catch enemies off guard as they push through Mid Top or enter from B Boba towards Mid Top or Defender Spawn.
To perform this exploit, players need to stand outside the Mid Top entrance towards Defender Spawn and manipulate Omen’s hands to teleport onto the spherical feature. With a bit of practice, anyone can master this glitch and take advantage of it.
However, it’s important to note that abusing this bug can result in penalties from Riot Games. While the company has acknowledged the issue and plans to address it, players should refrain from exploiting it in ranked games to avoid potential consequences.
Some players expressed their dissatisfaction with Riot’s response, jokingly referencing the popular “Fnatic manager here, please delete this” meme. Others were concerned that Omen might receive unnecessary nerfs due to these unintended exploits.
This is not the only teleport bug on the Sunset map. There are several other unintentional teleport spots that Omen’s Shrouded Step can take players to, including one that allows them to perch on the roof in front of the Radianite box in A Site.
Riot Games will undoubtedly patch these bugs, but the timeline for these fixes remains uncertain.
