Overwatch 2 fans have been eagerly awaiting new collaborations in the game, and their wishes have been granted. Blizzard has confirmed that a new crossover event will be introduced during season seven, which begins next month.
Blizzard teased the upcoming content, stating, “While there have been many exciting experiences and seasonal events, we can’t wait to show you what’s coming next. Keep an eye out for new experiences in the future, including an all-new crossover event starting in season seven. We have lots of thrilling news to share at BlizzCon. The adventure is just beginning, and you won’t want to miss it.”
Blizzard intentionally kept the details vague, leaving fans curious about what to expect. However, with season seven commencing in the second week of October, the reveal should be just around the corner. In the past, Blizzard unveiled the One-Punch Man collaboration event through the season’s trailer. Typically, Overwatch 2 releases seasonal trailers one day to a week before a new season begins.
The previous One-Punch Man collaboration event featured three Legendary shop skins and an additional skin that players could earn by completing challenges. Unlike most Overwatch 2 events, which last a couple of weeks, the One-Punch Man event lasted a full month, running from March 7 to April 6.
