The Connection Between Glimmora, Area Zero, and The Teal Mask DLC in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

superadmin

Players of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have been uncovering new connections between the mysterious Area Zero, a certain Pokémon, and The Teal Mask DLC. These findings have led to some intriguing theories about the upcoming DLC, The Indigo Disk.

In The Teal Mask DLC, players visit the Crystal Pool on Oni Mountain, which bears a striking resemblance to Area Zero. Both locations are centered in their respective lands and feature Tera Crystals. Additionally, the music in the Crystal Pool is reminiscent of the music in Area Zero.

The only Pokémon line found in both the Crystal Pool and Area Zero is Glimmora and its pre-evolution, Glimmet. Glimmora has always been an enigmatic Pokémon, with its crystallized poison energy petals resembling Tera Jewels. It is also the signature Pokémon of Geeta, the Pokémon League’s chairwoman and a character many players suspect has a larger role.

With these connections in mind, players have developed theories about the relationship between Glimmora, Geeta, and The Indigo Disk DLC. Some speculate that Geeta and her Glimmora will clash with Briar, a new DLC character interested in Terastallization and Area Zero’s secrets. As the chairwoman of the Pokémon League, Geeta holds significant power over the Paldea region, making her a formidable opponent for Briar.

Others propose a darker theory, suggesting that Geeta may be under the control of Glimmora’s powers, turning her into a “zombie-like” human. This theory stems from the connection between Glimmora and Terastallization, with both potentially sharing a common origin inspired by Momotaro and meteorites.

While these theories are speculative, they raise the possibility that Glimmora plays a more significant role in Area Zero and Terastallization than previously revealed in the Gen IX games. The upcoming release of The Indigo Disk DLC promises to shed more light on these mysteries.
