Apex Legends players are facing a frustrating bug that is preventing them from progressing in the Harbingers event. However, the developers at Respawn are actively working on resolving this issue and have promised to make it easier for players to unlock the badge once the bug is fixed.
The bug specifically affects the Harbingers Angel badge, which requires players to deal 1000 damage with the Revenant shell. Unfortunately, on September 20th, players noticed that their progress towards this goal was not being tracked due to a code failure in the battle royale game.
Respawn has acknowledged the bug and has announced that they will lower the required amount of damage from 1000 to 500 as a way to compensate for the inconvenience caused. This adjustment will allow players to quickly advance through the mission without having to grind as much. Since the Harbingers Angel badge is a free reward, this news should be well-received by the Apex Legends community.
Despite this setback, the Harbingers event still offers plenty of exciting content for players. In addition to the free rewards, such as the Harbingers Angel badge, there are also various paid cosmetics available in the event store. Furthermore, Fuse, one of the game’s characters, will receive a new Heirloom, adding to the already extensive collection of over 20 unique animations for melee attacks.
