Larian Studios, the developers of Baldur’s Gate 3, have released a crucial hotfix just days after their latest patch. This update focuses on fixing crashes and improving the game’s playability.
Here are the changes included in Hotfix #7:
1. Fixed a crash that occurred during multiplayer dialogues.
2. Resolved crashes caused by corrupted item stacks when transitioning between levels or regions.
3. Addressed a savegame issue related to loading into new regions while Withers’ Wardrobe was still active in the previous region.
4. Fixed a crash when loading savegames with potentially invalid items in the inventory.
5. Resolved a savegame issue concerning traps.
6. Eliminated duplicated characters and items caused by transferring items across different cached levels.
7. Fixed the text background preview, ensuring it adjusts correctly when reducing the Dialogue Text Size.
Baldur’s Gate 3 demands significant processing power, and even PCs meeting the recommended specs can experience crashes. This hotfix aims to prevent crashes and savegame issues, providing a smoother gaming experience.
