Japanese Player Becomes First to Complete All Achievements in Final Fantasy XIV

Xavier Ward

A dedicated Final Fantasy XIV player from Japan has achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the first person to complete all 2,751 achievements in the game. This accomplishment, shared by users on September 27, showcases the player’s immense dedication and countless hours spent playing the game.

One particularly challenging achievement that caught the attention of players is “For the Hoard VI,” which requires collecting a total of 20,000 pieces of the Accursed Hoard. Obtaining these hoards is no easy task, as players typically only receive around two per Deep Dungeon run and must use specific items to uncover them. The player in question farmed for an astonishing 370 hours to reach this milestone.

In addition to this impressive achievement, there are numerous other challenging and time-consuming tasks that the player had to complete. These include conquering five Ultimate raids, clearing all three Deep Dungeons solo, achieving numerous victories in various duties, and obtaining over 50 Relic weapons.

One Reddit user pointed out the incredible commitment required to keep up with levequests for over seven years, as well as completing half a year’s worth of Grand Company leves. This aspect of the player’s accomplishment was particularly noteworthy to many.

It is worth noting that some of the achievements in Final Fantasy XIV are tied to time-limited activities, making it impossible for many players to ever complete all 2,751 achievements. However, this Japanese player’s achievement stands as a testament to their dedication and thoroughness in experiencing every piece of content added to the game over the past decade.

While it is unlikely that another player will match this record anytime soon, the Japanese player will have the opportunity to pursue additional achievements when Patch 6.5 releases on October 3, bringing new quests and duties to the game.
