Overwatch 2 players have discovered a bug involving the newest support hero, Illari, and her Healing Pylon ability. This bug allows Illari and other heroes to gain extra height when the pylon is deployed underneath them. Similar to Baptiste’s Exo Boots, this unintended boost can be used to perform high jumps, even clearing buildings.
Players have found that combining this bug with Illari’s Outburst ability, which launches her into the air, results in a massive jump that can surpass tall structures. Additionally, this bug can be utilized to assist other heroes, particularly tanks, who lack vertical mobility.
One Reddit user pointed out how this bug can be exploited in conjunction with Junker Queen’s Rampage Ultimate ability. By using the Healing Pylon jump, Junker Queen can surprise enemies by diving over tall walls and buildings, similar to Winston’s playstyle.
This bug resembles the strategy many players already employ with Lifeweaver’s Petal Platform-Life Grip combo to propel less mobile tanks like Orisa and Reinhardt towards enemies. While the Healing Pylon jump is not as effective or intended, it is still something to be aware of when facing Illari and Junker Queen on the enemy team.
