Are you tired of spending years farming for rare mounts and transmogs in World of Warcraft, only to be disappointed by the RNG? Well, I have a solution that could make the process less tedious and maybe even fun!
The idea is simple: introduce a universal currency as bad luck protection. After clearing a whole legacy dungeon or raid, this currency would drop, allowing you to visit a legacy content vendor and purchase the items you’re missing from your collection. Each expansion would have its own vendor, and the rarer the item, the higher the price.
Imagine finally getting your hands on that elusive mount, like Ashes of Al’ar from Kael’thas Sunstrider in Tempest Keep. After clearing all legacy content from The Burning Crusade, you could collect special tokens and eventually buy it. Of course, there would still be a chance for it to drop from Kael’thas, but this system would serve as a fail-safe.
This currency system would apply to transmogs, pets, toys, and anything else with a low drop rate. I understand that some may argue this would decrease the value and rarity of items, but think about all the items you’ve spent countless hours farming without success. It’s disheartening, isn’t it?
I acknowledge that adding another currency may seem overwhelming, especially when you’re already dealing with Shadowflame Crests, Elemental Overflow, and Dreamsurge Coalescence. However, at this point, what difference would one more make?
So, let’s hope Blizzard Entertainment takes note of this idea and considers implementing it. Imagine finally being able to obtain those transmogs and mounts you’ve been dreaming about for years. It’s time to make farming in World of Warcraft a more enjoyable experience!
