Sentinels’ VALORANT team is gearing up for the 2024 VCT season with a new in-game leader, and their first challenge will be against the newly formed Moist x Shopify roster. The match, set to be streamed and cast by Tarik from Sentinels and Ludwig from MxS, has generated high expectations among fans.
Moist Moguls and Shopify Rebellion recently joined forces to compete in Challengers 2024, and this showmatch against Sentinels comes shortly after their match against the new Cloud9 roster at the Red Bull Double Agent event. In that unique best-of-three showmatch, Ludwig and C9’s Mango actively disrupted the opposing team with dropped weapons, fake sound effects, and shut off monitors.
While it remains uncertain if disruptions will be part of the showmatch against Sentinels, it is undoubtedly a match that NA fans won’t want to miss. It will provide the first glimpse of the Sentinels roster under their new in-game leader, johnqt. Sentinels is hopeful that johnqt, who joined alongside Zellsis this offseason, will bring his playmaking and shotcalling skills from M80 to VCT Americas. The team has struggled with consistent in-game leadership due to multiple roster changes in the 2023 season.
