One major concern is the file size of the game. While the Steam version requires a minimum of 75 GB, the Switch version is only 6.7 GB. This significant difference has led to worries about downgraded graphics and potentially missing content.

Previous ports of Borderlands games on the Switch have been well-received, despite their compressed file sizes. However, fans are wary after the disappointing port of Mortal Kombat 1, which suffered from severe graphical downgrades and performance issues.
