Overpass is a highly advantageous map for boosting in Counter-Strike. F0rest, a renowned CS:GO player, has discovered an incredible new spot to watch all entrances to the B site from the Highway. This boost allows him to cover Monster, Short, and even parts of Water from a secure position near A. While this tactic is impressive, it requires the entire team’s cooperation and may not be practical in most situations. It can be considered a clever trick, but if it fails, it could potentially harm the team’s chances of winning.
Overpass offers numerous vertical angles that make it easy to execute sneaky kills in areas like Water or the Fountain. The map is also famous for the “Olofboost,” a previously unseen tactic used by olofmeister and his team to turn the tide against LDLC.
As CS2 is still in its early stages, there will inevitably be bugs and exploits that will be banned or discouraged in the future. F0rest’s boost, however, does not appear to violate any rules or exploit any unusual textures. At most, people may simply tease him for being a nerd. Nevertheless, it is certain that more exploits will emerge as the game develops.
Furthermore, CS2 still lacks many essential features present in Global Offensive, such as the War Games playlist, Danger Zone, and the cl_bob command. The community feels the absence of these functionalities, and it will take time for CS2 to reach the level of its predecessor.
