A highly-anticipated title, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, has fans eagerly awaiting its release. And now, some lucky players don’t have to wait any longer to try it out. A demo of the upcoming game is now available in select Targets and Gamestops across the United States. Surprisingly, this news was not announced by Nintendo or the retail chains themselves, but rather by the Twitter account Nintendeal.
The demo allows players to explore levels in the first world of the Flower Kingdom. It offers about six levels, including bonus ones, and provides access to various power-ups such as the iconic Fire Flower and the much-talked-about Elephant Suit.
Players who have tried the demo have shared their experiences on social media, showcasing the ability to play as most, if not all, of the game’s characters. Additionally, local multiplayer is available, allowing players to enjoy the game with friends.
There is speculation among fans about whether the demo will be released on the Nintendo e-Shop. If this is an exclusive deal between Nintendo and the retail chains, it is possible that the demo may not be available on the e-Shop for some time. However, since there has been no official confirmation from Nintendo, Gamestop, or Target, it remains uncertain.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder is set to release on October 20th for the Nintendo Switch.
