Treyarch has confirmed that the highly anticipated return of Zombies in Modern Warfare 3 will include two iconic Cola buffs: Juggernog and Ph.D. Flopper. This exciting news has thrilled fans, who have been eagerly awaiting the reappearance of these legendary perks.
Ph.D. Flopper, previously known as Ph.D. Slider in Black Ops Cold War, will be making a comeback in its original form, enhancing players’ diving abilities. This perk was absent from the series for several years, making its return even more exciting for players.
The last time the fan-favorite CoD Zombies Cola Perks were featured in the franchise was nearly three years ago in Cold War. With eleven perks in total, each modifying different aspects of the player’s health, damage, and speed, these perks provided special abilities that could be a game-changer in critical moments. Their absence in recent games has left fans longing for their return, making their inclusion in MW3 highly anticipated.
In 2021, CoD: Vanguard replaced the Perk-a-Colas with a new mechanic called Demonic Fountains in Zombies mode. While these served a similar function, many players felt that they lacked the character and charm of the original Colas that have been a staple since the mode’s inception 15 years ago.
Although the MW3 beta does not provide early access to the new Zombies mode, fans are hopeful that Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games have found the winning formula for Operation Deadbolt. The release of MW3 and the new Zombies mode on November 10th is eagerly awaited by the community.
