The Most Hated NPC in Starfield: A Unanimous Decision by Reddit

superadmin

The Reddit council has spoken, and it seems that there is one particular NPC in Starfield that everyone collectively despises. This character, a member of the Crimson Fleet, has managed to achieve the title of being the absolute least favorite NPC in the game. While every Bethesda game needs a character that players love to murder, this NPC stands out for being annoying without being a villain.

In previous Bethesda games, we had Nazeem in Skyrim and the Adoring Fan in Oblivion, both of whom were universally disliked. However, in Starfield, it is not the Adoring Fan who receives all the hatred, but rather an unnamed Crimson Fleet Pirate. This pirate commits the cardinal sin of Bethesda NPCs by repeatedly uttering the irritating phrase, “Wanna start something? Cause I’ll finish it.” Every time players dock their ship at The Key, the base of the Crimson Fleet.

The frustration with this NPC is palpable, as evidenced by the numerous comments on a Reddit post discussing this issue. Players have been eagerly waiting for an opportunity to vent their annoyance with this pirate. Some have even shared their secret methods of murdering the pirate without getting caught, while others have recounted their disappointment when they realized they couldn’t kill the pirate in self-defense.

The photo included in the post shows one player’s character standing triumphantly over the lifeless body of the pirate, accompanied by the caption, “I finished it.” This may be the start of a trend where players come up with creative ways to eliminate this Crimson Fleet Pirate. Just like how players are still finding new ways to kill Nazeem in Skyrim, it seems that this pirate’s demise will continue to be a source of entertainment for Starfield players.

Overall, it is clear that this NPC has struck a nerve with Starfield players. The repetitive and rude comment made by the pirate has become a source of frustration for many. Whether players choose to secretly murder the pirate or simply vent their frustrations online, it is evident that this character has become the most hated NPC in Starfield.
