EA FC 24 has resolved the frustrating bug that rendered Norwegian striker Ada Hegerberg unusable in the popular Ultimate Team mode. Previously, players experienced a glitch where Hegerberg would run away from the ball when certain controls were used. This issue has now been fixed in the latest title update.
During the investigation, players were unable to include Hegerberg in their active squad or play matches with her. Those who received her in a Draft had their Drafts reset and received compensation. However, with the release of the third title update, Hegerberg’s player item has been addressed and will soon be available for match use again.
Although the fix has been implemented, a new server release is required to enable Hegerberg’s usage in matches. The exact time for this release has not been specified, but it will be in the near future.
The latest title update for EA FC 24 includes over 100 fixes, addressing various errors in matches, menus, and game modes. Some of these fixes are visual glitches, while others have gameplay impacts. Notable gameplay changes include increased ball travel distance on clearances, improved jockey turning speed at slower speeds, and reduced ball travel speed for players using Pinged Pass and Pinged Pass+ PlayStyles.
EA Sports plans to continue applying title updates in the coming months to address any remaining issues and make necessary gameplay adjustments.
