Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon players can now aim for that coveted S-rank rating in missions with a clearer understanding of the requirements, thanks to Patch 1.04. Bandai Namco has clarified that achieving an S-rank involves completing the mission without retrying from a checkpoint, while also destroying a large number of enemy targets and minimizing damage, time, and ammunition consumption. This clarification comes as a relief to players who were previously confused about why they didn’t receive an S-rank despite their efforts.
In addition to the improved explanation of S-rank requirements, Patch 1.04 brings gameplay stability improvements and bug fixes. Notably, a bug that prevented AC Data from loading has been resolved, along with fixes for arms units WB-0000 BAD COOK, IB-C03W1: WLT 011, and IB-C03W1: WLT 011.
Patch 1.04 is available for all platforms—PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Make sure to download the patch before diving back into the game. If you were previously puzzled by your inability to achieve an S-rank, now is the perfect time to revisit those missions and give it another shot.
