ENCE’s in-game leader, Snappi, expressed his frustration with the current state of Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) during a post-game interview at IEM Sydney 2023. Despite leading his team to victory over Fnatic, Snappi criticized the game for being “super buggy” and difficult to play at a high level. He called on Valve to address the issues quickly.
CS2 has been plagued with bugs and issues since its release on Sept. 27. Players, both casual and professional, have provided feedback to Valve regarding gameplay and other problems like cheaters. While the developers have been working on fixes, there is still much work to be done.
Some professionals, like ropz, have acknowledged that playing CS2 extensively is the best way to help improve the game. By providing feedback and data, players can assist Valve in addressing the issues. Ropz emphasized the need for patience and an open-minded approach, as CS2 is a new game that will take time to perfect.
IEM Sydney 2023 is currently underway, with the final scheduled for Oct. 22. ENCE’s victory over Fnatic secured their place in the playoffs and upper bracket final, but they remain cautious of potential game-breaking bugs that could hinder their progress.
