Blizzard has made an exciting announcement for World of Warcraft players eagerly seeking the best gear in the game. In the upcoming Patch 10.2, the drop rates for very rare items will be significantly increased, making it easier to obtain these coveted pieces.
The latest PTR development notes, released on October 17th, reveal that very rare items will now have a chance to drop in addition to a boss’s regular loot. This means that players have an even greater opportunity to acquire these highly sought-after items.
While Blizzard still wants to maintain the rarity of these items, they are making them more accessible than in previous seasons. In season one, the Whispering Incarnate Icon was the most coveted item, followed by the Voice of the Silent Star and Screaming Black Dragonscale in season two. In season three, the Dreambinder and Loom of the Great Cycle will hold the same status.
This change is particularly beneficial for casual players who may not have had as much opportunity to obtain these rare items in the past. However, it remains to be seen how this adjustment will impact the Race to World First and split raids, which are crucial for top guilds preparing for the competitive race.
Season | Most Sought-After Item |
